The Genealogy Bug

I really can’t remember what started me on my search for my ancestors and those of my husband. Retired, I have several hobbies that I enjoy. Perhaps I became bored with those hobbies; all I know is that I am now addicted to genealogy and the intimate details of the lives of my ancestors. I love their stories. In fact, I love the stories so much they often appear more than once in my blog. 

As I move back in time, I find it harder to find stories. Their lives were not only dates and places. They all have a story to tell. Sometimes a newspaper article will give light to a subject.  But, it usually takes a lot of research about the times in which our ancestors lived to try to capture their story.
